Standard LED or Premium UltraLED™:
understand what really changes.
Two component grades. The same LED neon craftsmanship. Discover the materials and manufacturing details behind your light.

01 / A good place to start
In one minuteThe same bright idea.
Different components.
Standard LED and Premium UltraLED™ are two component grades for your LED neon sign. The practical difference depends on its construction: integrated or split, also known as assembled neon.
Quality & value
Standard LED
A quality solution offering excellent value, bringing your LED neon project to life.
Materials & precision
Premium UltraLED™
An upgrade in materials or assembly precision, depending on the construction chosen for your sign.
Construction follows the design. The grade defines the components.
Integrated or split describes how the sign is made. Standard or Premium defines the components used in that construction.
The Premium promise
Carefully crafted light.
Down to
every component.
Premium UltraLED™ combines latest-generation components with precise manufacturing to enhance your sign’s light quality and durability.
- 01
A longer lifespan
Materials and manufacturing designed to keep your sign shining over time.
- 02
Brighter light
Silicone supports light transmission in integrated construction; finer cutting intervals make LED positioning easier in split construction.
- 03
Better energy efficiency
Components designed to combine light quality with controlled energy consumption.
- 04
Better heat management
In integrated construction, the silicone enclosure is designed to help dissipate heat.
- 05
Greater UV and temperature resistance
Pure silicone improves the material’s resilience to sunlight and temperature changes.
02 / Integrated construction
Materials, upgraded.From PVC
to pure silicone.
In an integrated LED neon sign, the Premium version replaces the Standard version’s PVC sheath with a one-piece pure silicone extrusion that encapsulates the LED strip.
This change is designed to improve light transmission, protect the strip and enhance material stability in heat and outdoor conditions.
What changes, point by point.
Manufacturing comparisonScroll the table to compare both versions
| Feature | Standard LED | Premium UltraLED™ |
|---|---|---|
| Sheath material | PVC around the LED strip. | Pure silicone around the LED strip. |
| Construction | PVC sheath with integrated copper conductors. | One-piece silicone extrusion encapsulating the LED strip. |
| Brightness and diffusion | Standard version lighting. | Sheath designed to support light transmission and even diffusion. |
| Enclosure and protection | Conventional PVC construction. | Sealed silicone enclosure designed to improve LED strip protection. |
| Heat management | Thermal performance of PVC. | Silicone enclosure designed to help dissipate heat. |
| UV and temperature resistance | Resistance determined by the Standard version’s components. | Pure silicone offering better resistance to UV and temperature changes. |
| Shapes and small details | Relatively rigid sheath, particularly suited to straight lines; feasibility depends on the design. | Relatively firm silicone: some very small details can be more difficult to manufacture. |
Key point: here, the Premium upgrade primarily concerns the enclosure material.
03 / Split construction · assembled neon
Precision, upgraded.Precision,
LED by LED.
In a split LED neon sign, the strip is cut and positioned to follow the design. The Premium difference lies in the cutting points: one LED per section, compared with three in Standard.
In split construction, the Premium upgrade concerns strip cutting and positioning, with greater freedom for short segments.
3 LEDs per cuttable section
1 LED per cuttable section
Closer cutting points give greater freedom during assembly.
Fewer folds. More precision.
Manufacturing comparisonScroll the table to compare both versions
| Feature | Standard LED | Premium UltraLED™ |
|---|---|---|
| LEDs per cuttable section | 3 LEDs per cuttable section. | 1 LED per cuttable section. |
| Cutting positions | Cut at intervals of three LEDs. | Can be cut after each LED. |
| LED positioning | Adjustment limited by the length of a three-LED section. | More precise adjustment in short segments. |
| Strip folds | More folding may be needed in small shapes. | Fewer folds needed to fit short segments. |
| Brightness | Standard version lighting. | Slightly brighter light. |
| Light uniformity | Very tight areas can be harder to illuminate evenly. | More consistent positioning can help limit brightness variations in small details. |
| Stress and risk of damage | Additional folds can increase mechanical stress. | Fewer folds to reduce mechanical stress during assembly. |
| Fine details and complex shapes | Small shapes require more delicate manufacturing. | Better suited to short segments and intricate details. |
Key point: here, the Premium upgrade concerns LED cutting and positioning. It can reduce some assembly-related lighting irregularities.

Browse all our FAQsWhat is the difference between a Standard LED neon sign and a Premium UltraLED™ neon sign?
Standard LED is our quality solution offering excellent value. Premium UltraLED™ upgrades selected components: a pure silicone sheath replaces PVC in integrated construction; in split construction, the strip can be cut after each LED, compared with every three LEDs in Standard.
Is Premium UltraLED™ a different type of neon?
It is an upgrade in LED neon materials and manufacturing. The change depends on the construction: pure silicone for integrated construction, or cutting after each LED for split construction.
What is the advantage for small details?
In split construction, cutting after each LED allows precise adjustment of short segments. In integrated construction, the neon shape is planned around the firmness of silicone and the fineness of the design.
What should I consider for an outdoor installation?
An outdoor installation requires a configuration suited to the site’s exposure. Together, we define the protection of the neon sign, connections and power supply, as well as the installation conditions.
